Make your own Nail Polish remover with only 2 common household ingredients. Not only is it non-toxic, it is great for your nails and much cheaper than nail polish remover.
If you are in a pinch and ran out of nail polish remover..Or just want to try this and see if it really works like I did? Here is what you will need :
- Lemon Juice
- Basin of warm water
- Cotton balls
Pour equal parts vinegar and lemon juice into a small bowl and soak a few cotton balls in mixture.
Soak your hands in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes to loosen the polish a bit.
Apply the cotton balls on the nail and leave on for 20-30 seconds. Wipe off the polish gently.
Repeat if needed.
If you have several coats on and the polish is stubborn, you can also try wiping polish off with some rubbing alcohol, which is less harsh than regular acetone polish removers.
